Send the application to us here at Direct 4WD we will take it to the CLC in Alice, Lindsay will let them know to OK the permit. The entry / transit form and payment to Direct 4WD. This takes about 3 weeks, so get your application in early. Pay the necessary fees into a trust account. We send GPS points to you for the trip FEES for 2008: TRANSIT FEE: $120.00 per Vehicle. . This is to cross through Atnetye Land down the Hay River CAMPING FEE: $15.00 per Person /Night MY COUNTRY TOUR: $85.00/person for a full day. One stipulation that those who traverse through this Aboriginal Land are to pay a transit fee - and camp at least one night at the Batton Hill Camp. If you want a The My Country Tour that is extra. We strongly recommend this tour to all that travel the Hay. It is a combination of a drive around the sights near Batton Hill, get so find bush tucker if there is any.
